I've always felt special about the number "seven"
The numerous things associated with it, has left me stunned
The no of continents in the world is seven
The no of days in a week is seven
The wonders of the world are seven
The rainbow colors - VIBGYOR are also seven
The basic octaves(the swaras) in Indian music is seven
The celestial group of stars called "saptharishimandalam" is a constellation of seven stars
The number of periods(rows) in a periodic table is seven
The neutral PH value between acidity and basicity is seven
The no of segments used for a digital display is seven
The no of Logic gates are seven
According to Hindu mythology, the number of incarnations of a man is seven
Also there are seven worlds in the universe, seven seas and the seven gurus(saptha rishis)
The hindu marriage is incomplete without the "sapthaPadi" the seven rounds around the God of fire(each round signifying a vow taken by the couple)
The no of doors to heaven, our ancestors say, is seven
Apart from the "known facts" said above,
This number blends very well with experiences in my dough
