AUG 21st - A day to remember!!

This day is memorable since the year 2006. There are several reasons for it...

This was the day i started off my career at Infy way back in 2006. Congratulations to my batchmates who are still working for Infy, having spent 3 glorious years there!! (Does that strike somthing important to you guys?? Something like you finally want to take a call for looking into better career prospects??;) :P)
I re-read this post of mine that turned me hyper nostalgic remembering the good old days there...

Incidentally, one of my good friends, ex-coll mate, ex-colleague Sreejith was online in gtalk... After wishing him the grand 3rd anniversary we would have celebrated if in Infy, he said - "hey divs... u know another anniversary tht falls on this day?" I obviously didn't know what it was... He then said - "2nd anniversary of me becoming ex-infoscion :D" I ROTFLed like crazy and realized it was my 2nd anniversary too of becoming an "EX INFOSCION"!! Its 2 years gone after serving Infy (serving ourselves at Infy, rather) for exactly an year!!!

Three special people landed on this planet this very day 25 years ago!! Wow thats going to be a silver jubilee!! These special people are special because, they are no longer in touch with me but have made a big difference in my life!! Happy birthday buddies!! (No sarcasm involved!!)

A friend of mine got married too on the same day last year!! Thats anniversary #3.

3 anniversaries and 3 birthdays on a single day does make it special and memorable, wouldn't you agree???

So many many memorable incidents for me on Aug 21-22.. But no doubts on which one will be the closest to my heart.. Can't believe that 3 years have sped by.. If in Infy, we would have been eligible for on-sites by now :D Most of my training batchmates are still in Infy and going strong - have to see how their on-site prospects change after this milestone ;)

Hmmm.... Yeah "going onsite" would have been the talk of the season!! :) And 3 years sped like a whirlwind!! :( Me wil be 25 too very soon :'(

Wow!!! Three yrs have passed. Congrats! 3 yrs have gone so fast. No one talks of onsite there, due to recession, they were more than happy to get CRR 2, if not CRR 4.
And don't be sad about the quarter century re. I am too going to enter that crucial phase, when people who talk to you only talk only of marriage or kids :D. Take some tips from Sreejith, I am sure he will help you out ;).

YEAHHH PPL TALK ONLY ABT MARRIAGE!!! I am sick of it!!! Why don't they just mind their business??

TIPS from Sreejith?? Should i ask him wen he's gonna get married??? Now tht he's crossed 25 too... :P :D ;) Right time for him, don u think so??? :P

@Divya: Whenever I go to some relatives' place, they will talk about my marriage, as if it is a national issue. Now, even my cousins have started asking. There are so many issues like global warming, female foeticide, etc. but no they want to talk about marriage. grrrr!

Yeah Sreejith will definitely help. Yeah absolutely the right time for him to get married. So when is he going to get married :D, did he reveal the secret :P.

You two are just like those pesky relatives.. talking about MY marriage in a post about Infy.. Yeah yeah "the" news won't be in for a couple of years atleast.. so find some other topic to comment about :D 6 comments back and forth - gosh!!
