Tell me why?

Posted by Divya A L

If its one thing to be happy, have you ever wondered why things turn out to be so wretched the very next moment? Sometimes it makes us think twice, makes us wonder how could we have thought it was the best thing that we had done a few moments ago? Situations could turn us upside down in a matter of seconds. Should we really think twice and pay attention to the minutest of the details everytime? Things which appeared smooth minutes ago is now coarse and rough! Is it really true about this age old saying " One shouldn't laugh too much as they tend to cry double later on"?
Why does this turn out to be true always? Tell me why!

On a lighter note, since you asked to be told why, here's "Why". :-)

On a serious note, I find myself seriously tounge-tied / finger-twisted to answer the question. Its like asking should we all cease to live today, since we know we all are going to be dead in the long run. Who knows what one would discover about life once one is 'dead'. I guess one should welcome changing perspectives and "continue to pay attention to the miutest of available details", striving to do "the best thing" within the perspective. :-)

@Sagar: Thanks for answering "why" very convincingly :) When things keep changing everytime so v often, then one would really not know to identify and appreciate what was good and what was bad !

@Sree: eneno aaithu :)

Time is always the best healer..:)

On a more serious note as to answering your question "Why"...I would have given an ans similar to Sagars..
Life is a mixed bag and most often than not its a 50:50 world out there..We generally get equal share of successes/happiness and failures/sorrows...But we many times have the tendency to concentrate more on our sorrows than the happier moments...
Also just because the very next moment we might be unhappy should never prevent us from "living" and enjoying the current moment..Otherwise once the next moment arrives, bringing with it the sorrows, we will regret not having enjoyed the previous moment..:)

Believe me if things dont change so very often we would have felt bored and would have complained about that too...

Such it goes..
