The blatant disregard
Frigid decorum
Conspicuous numbness....
Happiness smothered,
Sorrows withered,
Churns and pains surfeit
Crocheting emotional conceits
Chasms of grief
Engulfing all around
Unable to give into...
Not wanting to give up...
Is it a folly
To fight a losing battle
Isn't it a distaste
To give up in haste..
The defiant choice,
Called in the catastrophe
Emotions mortified
Values defunct...
